These gifts highlight a special occasion, birthday, anniversary or holiday through a donation in honour of a special person or couple. 

Remembrance gifts in the form of an in Memoriam celebrate the memory of a loved one.  A card of thanks will be sent to recognize either of these very special gifts to help support the work we do in building community.

Through a donation to this fund, you can ensure that scholarship support is there when needed.  Each year we, along with New Path Youth and Family Services, award a total of $5,000 in post secondary scholarships to youth in Simcoe County either entering or continuing their education.  Help us bring the gift of education to a deserving young person.

Planned Giving - Simply put, a planned gift is a promise that may not be realized until well into the future.  Gifts can be made through a will, bequest, an insurance policy, in the form of tangible property, by a cash donation, gift annuity or trust.

As a champion for community development, your company can demonstrate this commitment to your staff, customers and community.  Through a variety of options including room naming opportunities, one time annual giving, corporate fundraising events, employee volunteer opportunities and customer appeals, we will work with you to ensure the right fit. 

Holding an event in support of The Common Roof is a great way to show your support and engage the community.  We can work with you to support your event whether it be a car wash, baseball tournament, scavenger hunt, golf tournament….the list goes on!!  Regardless of the event, we will be with you every step of the way to ensure it’s success.

There is always a demand for other items that many of our Tenant Organizations can use to support their clients. These include: 

Personal hygiene products to support children, youth and adults.

Gift cards for movies, restaurants, etc. to allow for respite support.

Gas cards to support travel costs associated with taking clients to specialist appointments or to support programs in the community.

Age appropriate books for children and youth.

Grocery cards to support transition to independant living for our youth clients.
